Dedicated to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ, and sharing His plan for hope
and a future to the handicapped in Romania.  (Jer. 29:11)
"More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of."

National Prayer Needs:  Romania is a country with an extensive history of cruel
persecution and lack.  Their effects are generational and obvious, especially to the outsider.
Recovery is a slow process, and the current national hope is that the EU brings that recovery,
though the poor seriously doubt that. Though it is a religious country, its approach to God is
through Orthodox traditions and icons rather than through sacrificial blood, God's requirement
to pay for sin, and that being the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ for humankind, individually.
Pray for God to break the power of ancient belief systems that dim the understanding of
transforming truths that can produce inner peace in the face of the challenging lives of so many
beautiful Romanian people.

A few years ago, Romania's state of poverty was brought to public attention and
many, many children were rescued through international adoptions.  The law no
longer allows such adoptions; therefore, countless numbers of children survive in
heart-rending circumstances.

Currently, the top political leadership is deposed, and EU membership has brought elevated
prices from 50-200%.

Pray for clarity and wisdom for Johanna, an American teacher of handicapped people.  She is
going to Constanta for a month to view the daily program in operation, and see if the job is
God's choice for her.  If this is, please pray for her to gather her financial support for the year.
